What is CCASP?

The Center for Community Academic Success Partnerships, an Illinois 501c3 was created in 2007 to address the problems of juvenile delinquency in some of the poorest communities in Chicago. The values and philosophy of CCASP are centered around improving the quality of neighborhood life with a special focus on solving problems faced by young people and their families.

Teen REACH (Responsibility, Education, Achievement, Caring, and Hope) is a comprehensive youth development initiative that provides after school program services to high-risk youth between the ages of 6 and 17.

ICJIA VIOLENCE PREVENTION/YOUTH DEVELOPMENT

CCASP Enhanced Violence Prevention Program (EVPP) incorporates community resource assessment for root cause determination, with Street Violence Prevention.

Student and Family Engagement crossing logistical obstacles and restrictions. 800 Service line and daily activities.

  • Opportunities for engagement and discussion of feelings and their repercussions.
  • Reflections on “acting out” which manifest as aggression in youth and young adults and deviant behavior.
